[still unmoving]

Kimura didn't trust Ragnarok's unmoving body. It could spark back up at any moment, as far as he was concerned. He used one arm to hold Kaorin to him tighter, slowly moving back until he was leaning against his wall and sitting on the bed. Kimura rubbed Kaorin's back with his hand lightly to try and comfort her. "I'll watch him and protect you, Kaorin. Try to get some rest for me, okay?" Kimura didn't want her to be up all night terrified because of this.

kaorin moved with her teacher as he scooted back against the wall. she was still scared but she slowly fell back asleep hugging him and leaning against her teacher.

Ragnarok gasped and sat straight up. the color fully returning to hiis face. He grimaced and felt the iciccle in his arm, he ripped it out, shattering it. He did to all the others. He looked over at kimura with an apologetic expression and a single tear fell down his face. He got back on the couch but turned the tv on, so low only he could here it.

Kimura saw Ragnarok wake up and sit up. His color seemed to be coming back and he had a sudden grimace, before pulling out the icicles and shattering them. They would just melt into the floor later, it wouldn't be a big deal. Seeing a apologetic expression, he got back on the couch and turned on the TV, but not loud enough to disturb Kimura or Kaorin. Kimura had a sudden urge to go through his Guardian book one more time. Kimura gently placed Kaorin on the bed next to him, before getting up and going over to his books on the table. He picked up his book about the Guardians, and moved over to the couch and sat down next to Ragnarok. He opened it, deciding to ignore the previous situation for better reasons. "You know..something has been bothering me. When I was reading, I think I missed a part of the text..it's making me a bit crazy wondering." He turned a page or two, until he got back to the part about the seal contracts. Reading through what he already knew, he saw a new block of text at the bottom he had skipped over. It was the side effects of the contracts. There seemed to be only one, however, Kimura wasn't sure if he was liking it or not. He went silent as he read over it in his mind. When a Guardian places his contract upon a given being for protection, there is a single side effect that the contract gives in order to guarantee the target will be protected. The gift, and curse of agelessness. The being protected will not grow or show signs of aging, as well as no further bodily development. Regular healing still takes place, but they will not age normally. Rather, like the guardian, they will have an extended life. When the contract is broken, regular aging continues, however previous aging will not show. Intelligence gained is not affected. Kimura was surprised at this. That meant Kaorin would stay a little girl until the contract was broken or removed. It was like that for either one. He wasn't sure how he would explain that, but it would show later on. He turned to Ragnarok, then back to the book wondering what to think.

*sleeping*

"sorry about that whole ordeal. i dont remember it but i can guess what happened." Ragnarok leaned back into the fffied couch, thinking it felt better than new. The tv was on a science fiction channel, playing some horror movie. A guy was getting horribly and grotesquely slaughtered. Ragnarok saw kimura start reading his book then glance nervously at him out of the corner of his eye. "Whats wrong."

Kimura nodded that he accepted the apology, and handed over the book for Ragnarok to read it himself. "That."

Ragnarok read the last part and raised his eyebrows. He handed the book back and patted kimura on the shoulder. He didnt need to say anything, it was just something known that he understood.

Kimura felt the pat on his shoulder. That's all you could really give, he knew it. Still, he wasn't sure what to think about that side-effect. He stood up and placed his book back on the table. Deciding to get something done, Kimura walked over to the shattered glass door and used the projection circle. It projected a circle onto the ground, and he placed both of his hands on it. The light began to glow again, and soon the door was good as new back into its original place, closed. Getting up Kimura went over to his front door as well, projecting one more circle and then placing his hands on it. The hinges of the door were repaired and the door wouldn't need to be replaced. This newfound alchemy was quite helpful. "I'm going to try and get some rest. Will you be alright, Ragnarok?" Kimura walked over to his bed, getting back onto it and closing his eyes as he fell onto a pillow, listening for Ragnarok's response.

ill be fine. Ragnarok sighed once again. He extended himself around the house, checking the doors, and the other two. the only threat was him, but he was better. He got enough sleep. Now he was just waiting for the time to pass...

Kimura kept his eyes closed, eventually dosing off again.

kaorin moved in her sleep rolling over next to her teacher

[next morning dozed off]

Kimura awoke that morning early. He slipped out of bed and quietly moved through his home. He wanted to surprise Kaorin with something, so he went over to his Alchemy book. He flipped the pages until he got the circle for each element embedded into his mind. He'd only need earth for now, but it was best to know them all. He went over to some drawers, pulling out two shirts. One was red, and one was blue. They were from a few years ago and didn't fit him anymore. And he just wasn't too much into red and blue. Taking them over to an open area in his apartment, he set them both on the floor on top of each other. Then he projected a circle for Earth below them, just big enough to fit around the two. Putting his hands together he clapped them once, and them put them down on the circle, getting on one knee. The circle shined, and the two shirts dematerialized and reshaped, when the light faded there was a pink t-shirt and a pink skirt. They were both big enough to fit a young girl, in which he'd made them for Kaorin because she didn't have another pair of clothes and he needed her to go with him out of his apartment today. It wouldn't look right if she was wearing a big baggy shirt and panties. Plus she probably wanted to change into something else by now. He picked them up, and then hung them over one of the table chairs. Alchemy really was useful, it could give you almost anything you wanted. All you had to do was give it an equivalent exchange. With that done, Kimura himself went and got his usual clothing, heading to his bathroom and closing the door before changing. Emerging a few minuets later in his new clothes, he tossed the others into a hamper. Now he went over to his balcony, opening the sliding glass door and stepping out into the cool morning air, looking around at the city below him as people walked. "This is going to be a good day, I know it."

*sleeping - just one more post then ill wake up*

Kimura stepped back in from outside, closing the sliding glass door and seeing everyone was still asleep. He went over and sat down at the table, next to the chair that had Kaorin's new clothes on it. He opened his alchemy book, turning to a page that had all the elements of the periodic table on it. He browsed over them, he would need to remember them if her had to draw a circle in the future.

kaorin opened her eyes to see her teacher was out of bed and already up. she stretched and yawned having slept well her teachers bed was comfy. sitting up she slid out of bed onto her feet and walked over to her teacher at the table, giving him a hug and smiling. "Good morning Mr.Kimura!!"

ragnarok woke up to the sound of kaorin talking. she told kimura goodmorning. He adjusted himself and sat up fully. He looked over and saw a new shirt and skirt, both pink. congrats kimura...

Kimura returned the hug to his student. "Good morning, Kaorin." He smiled as well, not expecting her greeting to be a hug. When she let go, Kimura turned to look at the new outfit hanging over the chair, and gestured to it. "I made something for you, Kaorin. I know you didn't have another change of clothes, and there's someplace we need to go today. Hope you like them." Kimura waited to see what her reaction would be. He knew when she was walking with him the first time she'd been wearing pink, so he figured it would be okay.

kaorin let go of her teacher after he said good morning back to her. seeing him look over and gesture to something she saw a new pink outfit waiting for her hanging on the back of a table chair kaorin smiled and picked them up as her teacher said they were for her "Thank you Mr.Kimura!!" she took them and ran to the bathroom to put them on closing the door and changing out of the pajamas into the new outfit kaorin came out of the bathroom and dropped her teachers shirt in the same hamper he had. she went over and pretended to model them in front of him giggling "i love them Mr.Kimura!" they were a perfect fit for her and she was excited to have them

Ragnarok watches as kaorin was filled with glee. There was nothing to say or do. He leaned over, wishing he had someone. He sat back and sighed, trying to stay calm.
